Above Left: A set of illuminated ‘floating’ steps lead the viewer up from the driveway to the front door. At the top, a solid steel mass framed on either side with glass serves as the main entry to the residence.

Above Right: The great room of the house ties the kitchen, dining, and living areas all into one space for seamless living. Glass windows on either side and a clerestory flood the space with natural light and dramatic views of the surrounding desert.

Left: The columns of the house are clad in black basalt. A polished concrete floor runs throughout most of the house. The large sliding glass doors retract opening the great room to the outdoor spaces.

Above Left: One of the guest bedroom suites featuring a large window looking out on the surrounding desert landscape. Elegant but simple mid-century furniture in neutral colors are consistent throughout the house.

Above Right: In the master bathroom, a slate colored tile create a seamless flow between the shower and rest of the bathroom. Windows flood the space with natural light without sacrificing privacy.

Right: The concrete floor continues into the master bedroom where midcentury furnishings compliment the incredible ‘live in view’ provided by the window looking out across the desert landscape.
